Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Education Center

A program created through a partnership between Goldman Sachs and LaGuardia Community College to help entrepreneurs develop and grow their businesses. The new 12,000 SFT space houses two large and five smaller meeting rooms, a business center and nine offices. The design intent was to mimic a visit to a corporate office tower. While not a LEED project, APA employed several design initiatives including low VOC paints and adhesives, high recycle content ceiling tiles, recycled carpet squares, high efficiency LED light fixtures, and day lighting in various spaces.
