Rehabilitation of Restrooms at Port Authority Bus Terminal
New York, NY

As part of Quality of Commute program undertaken for PANY&NJ all existing toilets were renovated including replacement of all existing finishes and fixtures and fittings. A large majority of the restrooms were original construction in both the South Wing (built in 1950) and North Wing (built in 1978). Since no improvements were made since, most of the existing finishes had passed their useful life. The restrooms were fitted with modern fixtures and finishes suitable for the heavy use at the Bus Terminal and for ease of maintenance. All related MEP and infrastructure was upgraded to comply with applicable codes and design standards.
