Salemia Commercial Complex
Kuwait City, Kuwait

The project consisted of a low rise shopping arcade and three square residential towers. The inspiration for the site plan was the traditional “nine square” plan. The garden, residential towers and a curvilinear arrangement of the shopping galleria were arranged by our interpretation of this historic design concept. The main arcade roof structure was designed as a glass skylight covered with a tent shaped shading devices which recall the traditional bazaars of the middle-east.
