This is a 120 bed, intermediate care nursing facility. The patients/residents are interned for convalescence or rehabilitation in an atmosphere of comfort and concern. The plan was designed with a symmetrical layout with a central core consisting of medical, administrative, dining and activity centers. The occupational therapy and physical therapy as well as the nursing stations and exam rooms are all located in this central core. The residential wings are conveniently located on either side of the central core structure.
