Renovations and Modernization Of North Entrance And Elevator Lobbies Of Building 1, Jacobi Medical Center
Bronx, NY
Interior renovation and upgrade of the elevator lobbies including the north wing entrance of the 1960's building in the Jacobi Medical Center Hospital complex. The existing north entrance of the building though not the main entrance is heavily used due to the presence of the NYC transit bus stop just outside. JMC wished to improve the street front image and provide better weather buffeting and security at this entrance. The scope included design of the entrance storefront with security and a waiting area and complete modernization of the elevator lobbies and corridor with new wall, floor and ceiling finishes and improved lighting.
